What we collect
When you book a call
Your name, email address, phone number (if you want us to call you), your business name and message if you write them, the time and type of call you chose, the page language and when the booking was made.
When you request a quote
Your name, business name, email address, phone number if you give it, type of business, the needs and budget range you choose, your message, the page language and when it was sent.
To prevent abuse
We limit how often the forms can be sent so they can't be used for spam. For this we store a hash calculated from your IP address, not the address itself. The hash is deleted within a day.
In the demo salon
Kampaamo Kuvitelma is a made-up business. Its bookings (name, email, phone and message) are stored in a separate demo calendar. Nobody is notified about them and they are not used for anything. They are deleted automatically within 7 days. Made-up details are fine in the demo.
What we don't collect
The site has no analytics, ads, tracking or cookies. We don't profile you and we don't use automated decision-making.
Why we use it, and the legal basis
- Arranging the call and answering your quote request. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (EU General Data Protection Regulation, Article 6(1)(b)). If you contact us on behalf of a company, the basis is our legitimate interest in answering you (Article 6(1)(f)).
- Preventing abuse and keeping the service secure. The basis is our legitimate interest in keeping the service working and safe (Article 6(1)(f)).
- The demo. The basis is our legitimate interest in showing how our service works. Using the demo is voluntary.
All of this data comes from you, through the forms.
Where the data is and who handles it
- Cloudflare, Inc. runs the servers for this site. Form data is stored in Cloudflare Durable Objects storage restricted to the European Union.
- Notifications to the owner. A new call booking or quote request sends an email notification through Cloudflare's email service to the Mrrp Software owner's Proton Mail inbox (Proton AG, Switzerland). Demo bookings send no notifications.
- We don't sell your data or share it with anyone else.
Cloudflare is a US company. Stored data stays in the EU, but Cloudflare may process things like network traffic outside the EU. Such transfers rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, which Cloudflare participates in, and the European Commission's standard contractual clauses. The European Commission has found that Switzerland provides an adequate level of data protection.
How long we keep it
- Call bookings and quote requests are deleted automatically 12 months after the call or the request, unless they lead to a customer relationship. Notification emails are deleted on the same schedule.
- Cancelled bookings are deleted 30 days after cancellation.
- If we work together, customer records are kept for the length of the contract and afterwards for as long as the law requires, for example the Finnish Accounting Act.
- The IP address hash is deleted within a day, and demo bookings within 7 days.
Your rights
You have the right to
- see what data we hold about you
- have incorrect data corrected
- have your data deleted
- have processing restricted
- object to processing based on our legitimate interest
- receive the data you gave us in a machine-readable format.
Send your request to hello@mrrpsoftware.com. We reply within a month. We may ask for details to make sure the data is yours.
If you think your data is being handled unlawfully, you can complain to the Finnish Data Protection Ombudsman: tietosuoja.fi.
Cookies
This site uses no cookies and no other tracking technology. That is also why there is no cookie banner.
Security
All traffic is encrypted (HTTPS). Stored data can only be reached by the owner, through an admin view protected by a secret key. We only collect what arranging a call or a quote needs.
Changes
If this policy changes, we update it on this page and change the date at the top.
